Le voyage à la Tangkuban Perahu

Tangkuban Perahu

Have you ever thought of visiting natural tourism place thats familiar and well-known by your ears, but you never had time to go there? Honestly I often feel it. For example, I occasionally visit Bandung once or twice a year and had a plan to visit Tangkuban Perahu Mountain but when I was in Bandung, my time there used to do other activities.

But yesterday I should be grateful as finally I was able to visit Tangkuban Perahu Mountain which became famous as the legendary story of Sangkuriang and Dayang Sumbi. I swear that I couldn't hide my pleasure because I got my boyfriend to accompany me to go there. I would like to say Thankyou from the deepest of my heart because he already volunteered his time to accompany me to Tangkuban Perahu <3

Kawah Ratu, the best part of Tangkuban Perahu

Because we went there on Saturday, when tourists from outside of Bandung came, we decided to take Dago Pakar as our path to be able to avoid traffic jam in Lembang area. We already knew that tourists from Jakarta usually only know Lembang area as the street to reach Tangkuban Perahu. Actually we also used Waze apps as our guide to reach Tangkuban Perahu and only 1.5 hours we arrived safely in Tangkuban Perahu. I don't recommend you to visit Tangkuban Perahu via Dago Pakar by sedan or small city car because the road conditions were narrow, damaged and had some holes. If you want to take via Dago Pakar, it will be better by bigger car such as Kijang Innova or Toyota Rush.

Upon entering the mountain park area, the atmosphere was changed to a very peaceful and chill. It has many green trees surrounding along the street which can refresh your mind and relieve depressed. I opened the car window for taking a breath fresh air outside and enjoyed the green view along the street to reach the mountain. The road conditions along the street were very neat, smooth and wide enough to make ourselves enjoyed the journey. There is the officer on duty who will ask for admission fee to enter the mountain, which charged IDR 30 for a person. It only took 4km to go or 15 minutes to drive from the gate to arrive in the crater area.
Such an incredible moment that could see Kawah Ratu, the greatest crater of Tangkuban Perahu and took some adorable photos for uploading to my social media, of course hihihi :-P

The street along to Tangkuban Perahu

Glad to come there with the good weather condition, which the sunshine wasn't too hot and the cloud was not showing signs of getting rain. We were both really enjoyed the scenery and all of stuffs surrounding the crater area. Lots of food stalls there provided many kind of food and hot drink, such as Mie Bakso, Ketan Bakar, Gorengan, Bajigur and Bandrek. Don't forget to try the best Bandrek there! They have the best Bandrek in town!!!

A man who sells fresh strawberry to us and we were tempted to buy it, it only costs IDR 20 for a box of fresh strawberry. We tried it directly after we purchase and it was so delicious. The strawberry was so fresh from the field, sweet and not too sour. I fell in love with fresh strawberry lalala~

Sweet fresh strawberry
After two hours we spent to enjoy the view there, we decided to came back home. In the middle of our way to back home, I looked for a monkey in the beside of the road which seems lost and confused. Such a great opportunity to take some picture, so I got some photos of that 'lost monkey'.

It seems like great time with my good man to visit Tangkuban Perahu :-)
